Turner Industries is seeking an experienced Warehouse / Material Coordinator in the Salt Lake City, UT area. The Warehouse position receives, stores, and distributes material, tools, equipment, and products. Non-exempt role; Reports to the Foreman; Assigned duties according to specific procedures / work is checked frequently.
Essential Qualifications:
- NO PER DIEM, ideal for local candidates
- Proficient in SAP Materials Management
- 2-5 years experience in an industrial warehouse
- Forklift Experience - Valid Driver's License REQUIRED
- Insure stock is organized and stock levels are maintained
- Receive deliveries, update SAP, stage materials ahead of planned and nonplanned maintenance activities
- Ability to pass all required Safety Council Courses

Functional Requirements:
Read and sign off on JSA prior to starting shift; supervises and coordinates activities of workers engaged in lifting, transporting, storing, and loading materials and products by use of conveyors, cranes, hoists, or industrial trucks, applying knowledge of plant layout and material-handling equipment and procedures; studies receiving or shipping notices, requests for movement of raw materials and finished products, and reports of warehousing space available to develop schedule for material handling activities; may confer with supervisors of other departments to coordinate flow of materials or products; may verify or prepare records, such as routing slips, material requisitions, and job orders; maintains a clean and safe work environment at all times.
Qualification Standards:
- Preferably one (1) to four (4) years of experience in specified skill
- Basic computer skills preferred
- Pre-employment qualification test if applicable
- Post-offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation
- Hazard Communication orientation/test
- Computer literacy - Google Workspace
- Communication, interpersonal, organizational and problem solving skills
- Forklift operation experience, preferred
- Job site orientation
- Job site "Personal Protective Equipment" requirements (hearing protection, safety glasses, long sleeve shirt, gloves, steel toe boots, etc.)
- Applicant/employee must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of such individual or others in the work place
Compensation
Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
