The HR LATAM Specialist plays a key role in supporting HR operations and business partnering activities across the LATAM region and Canada, with additional responsibilities for EMEA. This position ensures accurate data management, efficient payroll processing, compliance with internal and external audits, and smooth execution of employee lifecycle processes. The coordinator also contributes to strategic HR projects and acts as a point of contact for employee inquiries.
Work Model:
Flex: This role will typically require onsite work 2-3 days each week, or more depending on business needs. In many locations, the business will set certain days each week that Flex employees are required to be onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and updates in HR systems (UKG/One View) for LATAM and Canada.
- Manage monthly payroll processes for LATAM and Canada.
- Conduct monthly payroll audits for the EMEA region.
- Coordinate New Hire Orientation (NHO), including meetings, badge issuance, and manager alignment.
- Execute post-verbal acceptance hiring processes.
- Perform internal and external audits related to HR for LATAM and Canada (e.g., EY, government).
- Conduct HR Operations projects for LATAM and Canada
- Responsible for data accuracy in HR systems.
- Responsible for termination process management for LATAM and Canada.
- Contribute to onboarding process improvement initiatives.
- Prepare employment agreements for full-time employees.
- Generate salary reports for ICP calculation in collaboration with Commercial Operations (LATAM/Japan).
- Maintain and update monthly organizational charts for the region.
- Act as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns.
HR Business Partner Support
- Assist in educational and training processes.
- Manage HR contracts and documentation for LATAM.
- Manage internship vendor in Brazil and Mexico (invoices, contracts with interns, contract with vendor, etc).
- Manage occupational health vendor services in Brazil.
- Manage the full lifecycle of Contingent Workers (CW) in LATAM, including invoicing, salary adjustments, benefits, contracts, and quarterly financial provisions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, or related field.
- Experience in HR operations and business partnering, preferably in a regional or multi-country scope.
- Familiarity with HR systems
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
- Fluent in Portuguese, English and Spanish
