We're hiring Housekeepers at Old Faithful Snow Lodge and Mammoth Hot Springs. Experience the "secret season" of Yellowstone – an unforgettable winter adventure awaits!

 

Job Summary:

As a Housekeeper you will clean and prepare rooms (strip rooms, make beds, clean toilets) for our guests. With the best in service courtesy and care, you will be responsible for making guest accommodations comfortable and inviting.

 

The Details:Position Type: SeasonalSeason Dates: December 2026 to March 2027Pay: $15.70/hrSchedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days/per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays)

Responsibilities

• Provide our guests with the best in service, courtesy, and care.
• Clean and prepare guest rooms to time and cleanliness standards including changing bed sheets, cleaning bathrooms, etc.
• Comply with procedures for chemical use and room cleaning systems.
• Comply with the Housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Comply with key security and use procedures.
• Comply with proper Lost & Found procedures.
• Comply with environmental policies and procedures.
• Work safely to avoid injuries and accidents including wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment.
• Report unsafe conditions and maintenance concerns the Housekeeping Inspectors.
• Assist with maintaining linen room cleanliness.
• Complete linen counts as required.
• Maintain Room Attendant cart and related equipment such as vacuums and mops.
• Learn about location and hours to be able to assist guests with their questions.
• Assist other departments as needed, including six-day work weeks during times of staffing needs.
• Perform other assignments as required.

Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to work within a fast paced and quickly changing environment.
• Willingness to work holidays, weekends, and flexible shifts.

Preferred:

• Experience in a hospitality or resort environment.
• Experience in housekeeping.
• Knowledge of company structure and policies helpful.

Physical Requirements:

• Stretching, walking, lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, kneeling, and climbing up and down stairs up each shift.
• Making beds, stripping rooms, cleaning toilets for a minimum of 8 hours per shift.
• Completing a list of 14 - 20 rooms as required (with and without bath units).
• The ability to push 50 - 75 pounds on a frequent basis, moving housekeeping and cabin carts and up to several hundred-pound linen bins.
• Working with required chemicals daily.
• Must be able to work at elevations of more than 7700 feet.
• Ability to work outside, on varying terrain, and in inclement weather.
