- Soft Skills: Must possess strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.
- Provide comprehensive primary or specialty care to patients, including conducting physical exams, diagnosing and treating common illnesses, and managing chronic conditions.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests such as lab work and X-rays to guide treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and other treatments within the scope of practice and state regulations.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the patient's electronic medical record.
