Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Vehicle Driver in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed Patrol Officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post offers the chance to support daily operations with agility, reliability, teamwork, and integrity while making a meaningful impact throughout the location.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, buildings, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify entry authorization when required, and report maintenance, lighting, gate, and/or perimeter concerns that could impact daily operations.
• Support facility operations by maintaining a visible presence, following post orders, and completing routine reports related to incidents, patrol activity, and/or site observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
