Lead Web Designer & Developer

Responsibilities

Position Responsibilities:

• Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and iteration, defining vision and strategy aligned with business objectives
• Gather stakeholder input, prioritize features, and ensure cross-team alignment for project management
• Develop comprehensive project plans that outline scope, timelines, resources, and deliverables
• Facilitate sprint planning and retrospectives for optimal workflow management
• Oversee cross-functional projects, delivering high-quality output on time and monitoring performance for continuous improvement
• Advocate for user-centered design principles, ensuring the RDS platform meets accessibility and usability standards
• Other projects or duties as assigned

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 4 to 6 years of related experience or High School Diploma/General Education Degree with 7 to 9 years of specific experience
• Proficiency in HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript, and Python.
• Strong knowledge of UI/UX design principles and responsive design practices.
• Experience with design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Understanding of Web Accessibility standards (WCAG) and best practices.
• Knowledge of RESTful API practices including tools such as POSTMAN.
• Ability to create mockups, prototypes, and wireframes that align with business goals and user needs
• Excellent visual design sense with attention to detail and ability to analyze feedback and iterate designs to achieve optimal results.

• Master’s Degree
