Summary:
This position is responsible for assessing the psychosocial needs of patients and families and providing intervention to meet those needs utilizing personal, family, and community resources. The incumbent will also provide crisis intervention, brief therapy, case consultation and collaboration services to other professionals.
Requirements:
1. Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) is required.
2. Current registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an Associate Clinical Social Worker (ASW) is required.
3. Experience with crisis intervention and brief and long-term therapy, either in a mental health setting or a medical/health setting, is required.
4. Experience working with family and community systems and with multi-disciplinary teams is required.
5. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card is required.
