Position: Electronics Developer Level 2

Location: Wedel, Germany

Type: Full-time

Tasks:

• Responsible for drawing up specifications for highly complex electronic assemblies and test specifications
• Responsible for the cross-assembly assessment of cooling, shock and vibration resistance, electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and design for manufacturability for electronic assemblies
• Technical leadership of development teams for the development of circuit diagrams and the commissioning of assemblies
• Supervising and carrying out PCB routing
• Monitoring the maintenance of documentation supporting the development process (specification templates, design rules, manufacturing specifications)
• Responsible for making critical design decisions

Requirements:

• Optoelectronics or a comparable field
• Several years' professional experience in electronics development within an industrial environment
• Several years' experience in creating circuit diagrams and layouts for complex printed circuit boards
• In-depth knowledge of relevant development tools, e.g. Mentor Graphics or Spice
• Very good knowledge of SAP
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Several years' practical experience in the commissioning of electronic assemblies
• Very good command of English (spoken and written), particularly technical English
• Experience: Initial projects in optoelectronics, preferably involving the use of photodetectors, image sensors and lasers (fibre-coupled and free-running)
