About the role:

Our Assistant Branch Managers support the Branch Manager with operations and the day-to-day running of the branch; oversee and supervise a team of trade and Industrial specialists, ensuring their success; maintain a safe workplace.

Duties include:

• Coach, develop, and support a small team of trade, sales & packing team members to reach their full potential

• Provide sales and service to trade, industrial & mining customers leveraging your expert automotive parts/mechanical knowledge

• Manage & resolve customer issues/complaints in a timely & professional manner

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships

• Contribute to a culture of safety by putting safety first, ensuring that we all make it safe & make it home

Who we’re looking for:

• Supervisory experience or ready to take the next step in your career

• Previous trade/industrial experience, including sales, wholesale, and/or workshop operations experience (desirable)

• Experience building strong relationships with all customers; creating ‘moments that matter’

• A solution-focussed problem-solver

• Sound computer skills

• Conscious of workplace safety always

• Roll up your sleeves to receive, dispatch, and put away stock. (This is a hands‑on role that involves lifting, bending, and climbing as part of your day)

• ​Hold a valid driver’s license

​Oversee & supervise daily store operations; support & develop your team to ensure first-class customer experiences.
