Packer 1st shift (7am-3:30pm)

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: ( 2- 3 sentences summarizing the position)

• This position will be supporting the production floor with product flow and Quality
• This position will be assigned weekly on a rotation basis to packers

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain material flow on the production floor by stocking all machines with boxes, tape and bags. This will be conducted during the shift and prior to shift change.
• Assist in relieving for breaks and lunches
• Maintain the flow of product at the skid wrapper, placing skids on the wrapper, and taking skids off and pulling them to finished goods staging in the warehouse.
• Random Quality inspections on each line required 2x per shift and documented on the IBM report 
• Assist with packing as needed
• Assist with on-line sorting and going back on product that had machine/product concerns
• Assist with product on hold sort

• EDUCATION:  

  Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent
