Danone MENA is looking for a talented Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager – MENA (Fixed-term Maternity Cover) be based in Cairo, Egypt, like you!

In the context of Specialized Nutrition Middle East North Africa, you will be the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager who will co-build Health, Safety and Wellbeing agenda, strategy, and foster safety culture in the MENA Region overlooking after 500+ Danoners and External stakeholders, ensuring compliance with WISE | Safety standards of Danone across all countries within MENA CBU.

  The candidate will also carry the following responsibilities:

Health, Safety and Wellbeing Agenda

• Build MENA compliance with the Global Standards
• Review and improvement of the safety roadmap with MENA Needs and ambition.
• Foster the Safety culture and mindset amongst every Danoner
• Grow “Reporting” mindset where every Danoner feels safe and motivated to report accidents/incidents
• Improve constant safety conditions and behaviors
• Position Wellbeing and engagement plans of Danoners.

Education:

• Plan and activate and lead Safety trainings in MENA region
• Lead continuous sessions on Health, Safety and Wellbeing Topic
• Building Safety awareness programs for Danoners and external stakeholders (Distributors, Warehouse Teams, etc)

Audit & Reporting:

• Report and close all reported incidents on Sphera system on monthly basis.
• Conduct assessments and audits
• Drive the improvements as recommendations post audit/assessments
• Conduct activations recorded and stored for compliance

About You

To be successful in the role you should ideally have:

 

• 2-4 years’ experience in roles managing health, safety and well being
• Holding a Bachelor Degree in science or business administration or equivalent
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Motivated and passionate to take new initiatives and make a difference
• Highly organized with ability to prioritize different tasks and information
• Good written and verbal communication skills and stakeholder management
• Proactive to improve the planning and organization of time and work
