You will turn large, imperfect operational datasets into clear, defensible insight. You will investigate performance variation, distinguish weather-driven effects from technical or operational losses, and help teams focus on the issues that matter most. This is not a reporting-only role: you will build repeatable analytical workflows and support practical improvement initiatives.
Profile for Success
- Evidence of analysing operational time-series data in asset performance, energy, industrial analytics or data science — not purely commercial analytics.
- Hands-on SQL plus Python or R for extraction, wrangling, statistical analysis, visualisation and modelling.
- Experience with SCADA/DCS, historian, IoT or comparable production data, including gaps, status signals and data-quality validation.
- Practical application of regression, time-series analysis, hypothesis testing, anomaly detection or forecasting.
- Reports or dashboards that informed operational decisions, plus credible cross-functional collaboration.
- Degree in engineering, data science, statistics, mathematics, physics or a closely related technical field; 1–3 years’ relevant experience.
