The Payments and Cards team is a group of competent , multi-skilled professionals who have championed the domain as well as the technology involved in the 5+ years since the team’s inception. They work as a team to conquer all kinds of challenges and are fully determined to get the job done , holding themselves to the highest standards of workmanship / craftsmanship always as they execute their projects. New joiners can be sure to learn so much about domain and technology thanks to the free flow of information and mentorship provided by seasoned IT professionals who have been part of this team for so long. The integrations (applications) built by the person playing this role helps drive transformation goal for the organization by significantly improving the ways the Payments/Cards-onboarding had been handled previously.

Key Deliverables:

• 5-7 years of experience building Enterprise Frontend applications as well as  backend services in Java
• Proficiency in front-end development with javascript based scripting languages like NodeJS, React JS, Redux, showcasing a strong foundation in building interactive and dynamic user interfaces.
• Proficiency and experience in building Java backend services e.g. Spring boot Microservices.
• Design and implement backend services using Javascript based frameworks (like Node.js), integrating with databases and possibly cloud-based solutions. 
• Implement and manage databases (any RDBMS, NoSQL), ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval.
• Strong development experience with RDBMS and/or NoSQL databases
• Expert at Java design patterns – SOLID principles, , Integration patterns.
• Significant development Experience using  MERN, MEAN stack.
• Experience building UI components and styles using widget libraries like Material UI , Bootstrap to enhance user experience.
• Experience building dashboard UI would be preferable.
• Should know how to develop and execute test cases for unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to maintain high-quality code.
• Drive complex technical efforts (solutioning) across one or more engineering teams in Cards or Payments team.
• Application design and technical ownership new integrations or enhancements to existing integrations.
• Build the code  and deploy/promote it into various pre-prod environments using CICD / Devops.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, backend developers, and product managers, to deliver feature-rich applications.

• Fix Quality issues and work closely with Quality and business partners to ensure timely collaboration and resolution.
• Create documentation to hand off the developed software to App Support teams.
• Provide deployment support to the Application-support team .
