As a Group Fitness Instructor, you're more than an instructor—you’re a coach, motivator, educator, and cheerleader. You'll create welcoming, engaging classes that help participants of all fitness levels feel successful, supported, and inspired.
Whether you're leading a high-energy cycling class, guiding a calming yoga session, coaching strength and conditioning, or helping participants improve their mobility and balance, you'll play an important role in helping our members live healthier lives.
💪 What You'll Do
Deliver safe, engaging, and high-quality group fitness classes.
Create a welcoming and inclusive environment for participants of all fitness levels.
Teach proper exercise techniques and provide modifications based on individual needs and abilities.
Monitor participant safety throughout all phases of class.
Assess participant goals, motivation, and potential barriers to success.
Encourage healthy lifestyle habits and positive member experiences.
Collaborate with Fitness Center leadership to continuously enhance class offerings and participant satisfaction.
Maintain accurate records and documentation as required.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established safety protocols.
Help maintain a clean, organized, and professional exercise environment.
☀️ What We're Looking For
We're seeking energetic, passionate fitness professionals who enjoy connecting with people and helping others succeed.
✅ Required Qualifications
Current certification in area of instruction, including one of the following:
PiYo
Aquatic Exercise
Cycling
Zumba
Yoga
Pilates
Tai Chi
Nationally recognized Group Exercise certification
Nationally recognized Personal Trainer certification
Specialty certification directly related to area of instruction
Current HS AED CPR certification or ability to obtain within ninety (90) days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology, Exercise Science, or related field.
Two (2) years of group fitness instruction experience.

Shift:
Variable (United States of America)Schedule: Flexible, PRN, as needed schedule.
Our Group Fitness Instructors help bring energy and consistency to our class offerings. Schedules are created based on member interest, class volume, and program needs. Flexibility to assist with class coverage and collaborate with fellow instructors is an important part of this role.
PRN positions (also referred to as Casual, As Needed, or Per Diem) at Logan Health offer flexibility and are designed to provide coverage during busy periods, employee absences, and vacations, making them an excellent opportunity to support the team as needed. PRN employees can participate in a matching 401(k) plan and have access to the Employee Assistance Program. Additionally, they may qualify for hourly differential pay for certain shifts or hours, offering extra compensation based on department-specific scheduling needs. Pay rates and scheduling practices may vary by department.
