Burleigh Town Hotel is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our high-volume dining venue. With seating for more than 800+ guests and a reputation for delivering outstanding food, service, and customer experiences, this is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional ready to take the next step in their career.
About the Role
As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, driving team performance, and maintaining the highest standards of service, compliance, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of a busy 800+ seat restaurant, Beer Garden & Sports Bar
- Lead, coach, and develop a large front-of-house team.
- Drive a culture of exceptional customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Manage rosters, labour costs, and productivity targets.
- Work closely with the Head Chef and broader management team.
- Monitor financial performance, including revenue, wages, and cost control.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, RSA, WHS, and venue standards.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally.
- Support the planning and execution of promotions, events, and special functions.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Previous Restaurant Manager experience in a high-volume venue.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Proven ability to manage large teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Sound understanding of hospitality operations, budgeting, and KPIs.
- Current RSA, RSG, RMLV & Approved Managers License
- A hands-on approach with a passion for hospitality and guest experience.
- Availability to work a flexible roster, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
