Job Overview

Current opportunities in the Coatings Product Group include:

• Material Handler II (Day Shift) $18.50-23.50/hr
• Operator II (Day & Evening Shift) $18.50-21.00/hr

In the coatings department you will perform duties associated with operating and maintaining machinery or equipment related to the production of window and door products.

Highlights of your role

• Operate machining equipment to produce quality wood profiles.
• Load, unload, dip, and ensure made-to-order parts are batched correctly for assembly.
• Check for quality accuracy based on established guidelines.
• Use machinery and essential tools, including electric, manual, and air tools.
• Use essential measuring equipment accurately.
• Read labels, customer orders, and potentially blueprints or shop drawings.
• Work with computers and/or the ICIM program.
• Rotate stations in a work process as needed.
• Work effectively with others.
• Cross train within CPG and WPPG.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
• Ensure dependable attendance.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

• Stand and/or walk for 8-10 hours a day.
• Perform repetitive hand, wrist, and arm motions.
• Work at an established production rate, including pushing and/or pulling materials up to 50 pounds.
• Bend, stoop, reach, twist, and turn as needed.
• Climb stairs and/or ladders and work in elevated areas.

Compensation
