Oceanside, CA | Full-Time | On-Site
- Mon–Fri: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
- Sat–Sun: 6:30 AM–3:00 PM or 2:00 PM–10:30 PM
- Overnight shift: 4 X 10 schedule 9:00PM - 7:30am
- Some flexibility required
- Shift Differential: employees will receive an additional hourly differential of $1.00 per hour for all hours worked during the defined weekend period.

About the Role
As a Direct Care Staff member, you’ll be the heartbeat of our residential program — the one who brings calm to chaos, structure to uncertainty, and compassion to moments of crisis. You’ll walk alongside adults navigating psychiatric and co-occurring disorders, helping them build safety, confidence, and purpose one step at a time.
This role is hands-on, relational, and deeply human. Every day is an opportunity to make a difference that matters.
What You’ll Do
- Support clients through their daily routines with consistency, patience, and empathy
- Model accountability and integrity — helping clients practice real-world skills and boundaries
- Provide transportation, assist with appointments, and promote safety and engagement
- Observe, document, and communicate behavioral patterns to the treatment team
- Foster connection through encouragement, structure, and presence
- Help maintain a safe, therapeutic environment where everyone is treated with dignity and respect

Requirements
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience in behavioral health or human services preferred
- CPR/First Aid certified (or willing to obtain)
- 21+ with valid CA driver’s license and clean record
- Able to pass background check, TB test, and health screening
