Overview
Position: Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Orthopedics
Location: St. Joes - Tampa , FL 33618
Schedule: Full Time Mon - Fri 40 hrs/wk
Compensation: Starting at $25+/hr. Starting hourly rate calculated by experience.
Incentives: $10,000 bonus. Indefinite student debt repayment option of $200/month
Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center has an immediate need for a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Work with a highly experienced team of 2 clinicians treating outpatient orthopedics, neuro, vestibular, concussion, sports med, POETS and dry needling. Experienced outpatient physical therapist assistants and newly licensed physical therapist assistants, APPLY! Mentoring available!
Responsibilities
- Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
- Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures
- Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.
Qualifications
- College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program
- Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE
- Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process)
- CPR certification
