Family Law Attorney

Anthoor Law Group is seeking a Family Law Attorney to support clients through some of the most personal and high-stakes moments of their lives. This role involves advising and advocating on complex family law matters, including child custody, child abuse, and domestic violence, as well as prenuptial agreements, divorce, spousal support, child support, and real property issues.

The ideal candidate is a confident and composed advocate who can think strategically, communicate clearly, and negotiate effectively — even in emotionally charged and high-pressure situations. This position requires both strong legal judgment and the ability to engage thoughtfully with clients facing significant stress and uncertainty.

Responsibilities: • Attend court proceedings as needed to represent clients • Prepare legal documents such as legal pleadings, motions, marital settlement agreements, contracts, judgments, and orders for a high volume of cases • Work closely with paralegals and senior partners to ensure swift action through the civil litigation process • Organize and maintain client files to ensure they are kept current • Divide marital assets, including real estate, when necessary during divorce proceedings Qualifications: • Proven record of success in advocating for plaintiffs and defendants • Previous criminal justice or other legal background preferred • Must have worked on family law issues for at least 1-2 years; handling of real estate also required • Active member of the ABA (American Bar Association) • Great negotiation and communication skills, particularly in stressful and emotional situations
