Urgent Care Veterinarian – Modern Clinic | Collaborative Team
A growing urgent care veterinary clinic in the Springfield, Ohio area is seeking an Urgent Care Veterinarian to join its team. This position is ideal for a doctor who enjoys fast-paced, focused medicine without the demands of full emergency medicine or overnight shifts.
This role offers the opportunity to practice high-quality medicine in a supportive, team-oriented environment while helping shape clinical protocols and workflow from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and treat urgent, non-critical cases

Perform common urgent care procedures

Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients

Ensure timely record sharing with referring and primary care veterinarians

Contribute to the development of clinic protocols and workflows

Maintain accurate medical records using digital systems
Qualifications
-
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM or equivalent)
-
Active Ohio veterinary license (or ability to obtain)

Strong clinical judgment and communication skills

Comfort managing urgent care cases

Team-oriented and collaborative mindset
