Komar is seeking a skilled Robotic Welding Operator to join our manufacturing team in our state of the art facility in York, SC. This position is responsible for operating robotic welding equipment, inspecting weld quality, and supporting the fabrication of heavy-duty waste and recycling equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, strong blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for operating robotic welding equipment, inspecting weld quality, and supporting the fabrication of heavy-duty waste and recycling equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing environment, strong blueprint reading skills, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor robotic welding cells to ensure quality welds and production efficiency.
- Load and unload parts into robotic welding fixtures and verify proper positioning.
- Set up welding fixtures, jigs, and tooling as required.
Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, penetration, and compliance with specifications. - Read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, work orders, and fabrication drawings.
- Perform grinding, fitting, and finishing operations as needed.
- Measure completed parts using tape measures, squares, calipers, and other inspection tools.
- Follow all company safety policies and wear required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards.
- Assist with continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and productivity.
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Minimum 2 years of MIG welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.
- Experience operating robotic welding equipment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.
- Strong understanding of welding techniques, weld quality, and metal fabrication processes.
- Experience using hand tools, grinders, and measuring equipment.
