The job that is available is a permanent full-time role as a Lead Firmware Engineer. This is a replacement role in an established organisation. You will be based in Shannon. You are a person who enjoys working in an established organisation which is experiencing growth.

You will be office-based in this role five days per week. There are no hybrid working arrangements available in this role.

The following list is not exhaustive. The job will involve the following responsibilities, amongst others:

• Evaluate requirements at system level through collaboration with colleagues in the organisation as required
• Lead design activities in the role and lead from the front in terms of coaching team engineers on an ongoing basis
• Perform cross platform C/C++ development alongside ensuring code quality throughout

In order to ensure you are selected for interview for this job opportunity, you must have the following:

• Hold a third level degree in either an Electrical/Electronics Engineering discipline or Computer Science
• Have a minimum of five years experience in developing embedded C/C++ applications for embedded operating systems
• Experience in designing industrial products
• Proven ability to lead a team and work across multi-disciplinary teams to secure successful design outcomes for customers

The salary range on offer is €70,000-80,000 per annum depending on experience. A strong benefits package including health insurance, pension, income protection, life assurance along with 25 days annual leave is available to you from day one of employment.
