An Automotive Technician will perform repair work and maintenance for cars, trucks, and other motor vehicles. The role involves conducting comprehensive vehicle inspections to identify potential mechanical, electrical, maintenance, or other automotive needs and safety concerns, completing repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently and accurately, utilizing diagnostic equipment, technical manuals, and computerized systems to diagnose and troubleshoot complex automotive problems, performing routine maintenance services, ensuring all repair and maintenance work meets manufacturer specifications and industry standards for quality and safety, performing quality control checks and test-driving vehicles to verify repairs, communicating effectively and professionally with customers, collaborating with management and other team members, assisting and mentoring junior technicians, abiding by and promoting workplace safety requirements, maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment, and staying current on industry trends and technology advancements.
