Overview
The Steward/Dishwasher maintains cleanliness and sanitation in the hotel's food service environment. Primary responsibilities include washing dishes that don't fit in the dishwasher, loading and unloading the dishwasher, sorting and putting away clean dishes and cutlery, and maintaining work areas including refrigerators, cooking equipment, walls, and floors. Additional duties include taking garbage to dumpsters, assembling and maintaining dish machines, and some table bussing. The role requires attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and provide friendly service to guests. Team members must contribute to guest satisfaction scores while maintaining spotless cleanliness standards throughout all kitchen areas.
