Overview

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides daily nursing care, medication ordering, updates to RNs and Nurse Practitioners, and training for AMAPs. Responsibilities include promoting individual independence through implementation of Individual Program Plans, attending to personal care needs, supporting program participants, ensuring safety and wellbeing, maintaining equipment and supplies, and participating in agency activities. The position requires an A.A.S. Degree or High School plus Specialized Trade Certificate, valid NYS LPN licensure, strong interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and a valid NYS driver's license with travel requirements.
