Veterinarian – Surgery and Dentistry-Focused – Corvallis, OR
A veterinary hospital is seeking a Veterinarian with a strong interest in surgery and dentistry to join its collaborative and well-supported team. This is an excellent opportunity for veterinarians who enjoy hands-on procedures and want to grow their skills in a modern, high-quality practice. This role is ideal for both experienced veterinarians and newer graduates seeking mentorship in surgical and dental care.
Responsibilities
- Perform soft tissue surgical procedures appropriate to experience level
- Conduct dental exams, cleanings, extractions, and oral health treatments
- Provide comprehensive patient care, including diagnostics and treatment planning
- Utilize diagnostic tools such as digital radiology and in-house laboratory equipment
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding procedures, treatment plans, and aftercare
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Contribute to a positive and team-oriented hospital culture
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) degree from an accredited institution
- Active or eligible veterinary license
- Interest or experience in surgery and dentistry
- Strong clinical and technical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Commitment to high-quality, compassionate patient care
- Open to new graduates (mentorship available)
