A nationally recognized healthcare organization is expanding its pharmacy operations and seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Certified Pharmacy Technician to join its team. This is a contract-based opportunity with consistent weekday hours, ideal for someone looking to contribute to a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

This role is essential to maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency in pharmacy services, supporting both IV preparation and medication dispensing. You’ll work alongside a team of pharmacists and technicians who are passionate about excellence in patient care.

Note: This is a contract position.

Focus:

• Collaborate directly with pharmacists to prepare and package medications, including IVs, in line with regulatory standards.

• Assist with prescription data entry and billing processes to ensure timely reimbursement and order fulfillment.

• Support inventory management activities such as medication receiving, rotation, and documentation of lot numbers and expiration dates.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment, performing equipment checks and upholding calibration standards.

• Participate in the final prescription verification process, including presentation and packaging of medications.

• Help coordinate timely and accurate delivery of filled prescriptions to patients or care facilities.

Skill Set:

• Active Pharmacy Technician Certification recognized by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy.

• IV preparation certification and practical experience.

• Previous experience in a high-volume pharmacy or healthcare environment is strongly preferred.

• Detail-oriented and capable of working efficiently in a fast-paced, regulated setting.

• Strong communication and organizational skills with a team-oriented approach.
