Maintains all areas in accordance with departmental standards.
Ensures proper infection control procedures are followed when handling linen, trash, medical waste, and performing cleaning tasks.
Demonstrates understanding of the PI Program, Excellence in Action, required competencies, and the Mission & Vision of PRMC.
Maintains and safely operates all housekeeping equipment.
Reports relevant information promptly to the supervisor or appropriate authority.
Completes required departmental record keeping and documentation.
Maintains appropriate linen and supply levels throughout the department.
Performs routine floor care and maintenance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
