Overview

A warm family of three in Tribeca is seeking a reliable, hardworking, and flexible Part-Time Housekeeper/Cook to help maintain their home and prepare family meals. The household consists of two adults and one 15-year-old.

The ideal candidate is warm, detail-oriented, and takes pride in keeping a home clean, organized, and running smoothly. The family is looking for someone who is happy to pitch in wherever needed, is receptive to feedback, and has a flexible, team-oriented approach.

Responsibilities

• General housekeeping and maintaining a clean, tidy home
• Laundry and ironing
• Preparing family-style meals for two adults and a 15-year-old
• Unloading groceries and organizing food and the refrigerator
• General household organization and tidying
• Assisting with other household tasks as needed

Qualifications

The family spends summers in Southampton and would ideally like someone who is able to work there 1–2 days per week during the summer, although this can be discussed with candidates.

Requirements

• Prior professional housekeeping experience in a private home
• Strong laundry and ironing skills
• Comfortable preparing simple, healthy family meals
• Excellent organization and attention to detail
• Flexible, proactive, and willing to pitch in

Salary and Benefits

Compensation: $35/hourSchedule: 2–3 days per week; Monday/Wednesday/Friday preferred, with flexibilityStart Date: ASAP
