Field Service Clerk

Gerkin Windows & Doors, a leading manufacturer of high-performance vinyl and aluminum windows, patio doors, and storm doors, is seeking a dedicated Field Service Clerk to join our office team in South Sioux City, Nebraska.

This position plays an integral role in delivering exceptional customer service and supporting our Sales Department. The Field Service Clerk will communicate with customers by phone, email, assist with warranty-related concerns, coordinate product service scheduling, and provide overflow support for customer service calls and emails.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer questions and service requests by phone and email
• Assist customers with warranty-related issues and documentation
• Coordinate and schedule service for Gerkin products
• Support Customer Service Representatives by handling overflow calls and emails
• Develop a strong working knowledge of Gerkin windows, patio door, and storm door production lines
• Maintain accurate customer, warranty, and service records

Qualifications:

• Prior customer service, administrative, or office experience preferred
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn company systems
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Professional phone presence and a customer focused approach
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
