- Build and maintain referral partnerships with real estate professionals, community organizations, and other business partners
- Originate residential mortgage loans while guiding members through the lending process and ensuring regulatory compliance

- Demonstrated success in mortgage sales, business development, and marketing
- Experience meeting or exceeding production goals and developing referral networks
Required Skills:
- Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a sales-oriented mortgage team
- Knowledge of residential mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, processing, closing practices, and regulatory requirements
- Ability to prospect, generate leads, build referral relationships, and close new business
- Strong financial analysis skills with the ability to explain lending options to members
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and professional relationship-building abilities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and mortgage-related technology tools
Education/Certifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred, or equivalent financial services experience
You should also be comfortable balancing personal production goals with team leadership responsibilities, managing multiple priorities, and serving as a resource for both members and team members.
What sets you apart
You don’t need to check every box, but here’s what will help you thrive in this role:
- Established network of real estate professionals and referral partners
- Experience working within a credit union environment
- Knowledge of secondary market practices and mortgage industry trends
- Experience training and developing high-performing mortgage sales teams
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related experience with loan processing, or financial services
What you’ll get
We believe in supporting our team members both professionally and personally.
In this role, you can expect:
- An opportunity to lead a growing mortgage team while continuing to build your own lending portfolio
- A collaborative, member-focused culture where your expertise and leadership are valued
