Event Bartender

 

We are looking for enthusiastic and experienced bartenders who thrive in an event-driven environment and are passionate about providing excellent service to guests. Our ideal candidates will have a strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, and wines, along with a friendly and engaging personality.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

·       Greet event guests warmly and provide exceptional service

·       Set up and breakdown bar stations for events, ensuring they are well-stocked and organized

·       Prepare and serve a variety of drinks, including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages

·       Take orders and serve food and drinks to guests at the bar and event tables

·       Check identification to ensure guests are of legal drinking age

·       Maintain a clean and organized bar area throughout the event

·       Handle cash and card transactions accurately

·       Engage with guests, answer questions, and make drink recommendations

·       Comply with all food and beverage regulations and health and safety standards

·       Adapt to different event settings and guest preferences

·       Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

·       Proven experience as a bartender, preferably in an event setting

·       Knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks

·       Excellent customer service and communication skills

·       Ability to handle cash and operate a point-of-sale (POS) system

·       Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

·       Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations

·       Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed

·       Must be 18 years of age.

 

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to work in a standing position and walk for long periods of time.
• Servers will regularly stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, turn, lift, walk, and carry and lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
