As a Scale Attendant and Dispatcher with us the minimum responsibilities are:
Daily Operation of the weigh-station scale (Operating hours from Monday to Friday 9am-6pm)
Entering appropriate data accurately into computer-based platforms
Daily closure and verification of 27 collection routes
Customer account and service information updates within TRUX
Administration and tracking of OCC contamination programs
Management of inbound and outbound scale operations
Backup support for the Overages Program
Preparation and administration of customer reports for the City of Oshawa, Town of Whitby, and other contracted customers
Other job-related duties as needed
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9AM to 6PM
What We Need From You:
Proficient in data entry with strong attention to detail
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of TRUX software is an asset
Experience dispatching in the transportation and waste industries is an asset
Willingness to work overtime as required by business needs
Must be able to remain seated for extended periods
Must be able to pass all pre-employment verifications
