Description
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Salon Manager to oversee the daily operations of a reputable and fast growing salon. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and experience managing salon staff and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the daily operations of the salon and ensure smooth service delivery.
* Manage, supervise, and coordinate salon staff and daily schedules.
* Ensure clients receive excellent customer service and have a positive salon experience.
* Monitor staff performance, attendance, punctuality, and adherence to salon standards.
* Handle client enquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.
* Drive sales and support the salon in achieving revenue targets.
* Monitor inventory and ensure adequate stock of salon products and supplies.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation.
* Coordinate appointments and ensure efficient client flow.
* Track daily sales, expenses, and other relevant salon records.
* Train and support staff where necessary to improve service quality and performance.
* Implement and maintain salon policies, procedures, and service standards.
* Liaise with management on operational issues, staff matters, and business performance.
* Identify opportunities to improve customer retention, service quality, and overall salon performance.
Requirements
* HND/BSc in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field is an advantage.
* 2–4 years of proven experience managing an aesthetic salon, spa, beauty business, or similar customer-facing establishment.
* Strong leadership and people-management skills.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Good understanding of salon operations, sales, and inventory management.
* Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic administrative tools.
* Must be professional, well-presented, and customer-focused.
* Must be flexible and willing to work weekends, public holidays, and varying shifts when required by the business.
