About The Role
The Statements & Investor Reporting Specialist plays a key role in ensuring the timely, accurate delivery of client communications and regulatory reporting materials across Baird’s Wealth Management and Asset Management platforms. Based in our Operations division, this role focuses on executing daily production processes and supporting the distribution of client statements, trade confirmations, proxy materials, and prospectus documents, while assisting with data feeds and pricing validation.
This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a detail-oriented, process-driven environment and enjoy working collaboratively to support high-quality client deliverables. Specialists are critical to maintaining operational excellence by managing exception reporting, resolving discrepancies, and ensuring all outputs meet internal standards and regulatory requirements.
The Impact You’ll Make
- Execute daily production processes to support the delivery of client statements, trade confirmations, and regulatory communications
- Monitor and resolve exception reports related to statements, pricing, and investor reporting outputs
- Validate data feeds and assist in identifying discrepancies or inconsistencies in reporting data
- Support distribution of proxy materials and prospectus documents in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Perform quality control checks to ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of deliverables
- Research and escalate issues as needed to senior team members or analysts for resolution
- Maintain documentation of processes and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with team members to ensure daily deadlines and service level expectations are consistently met
- Assist with audit preparation by gathering supporting documentation and responding to data requests
What You’ll Bring to Baird
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 0–2 years of relevant experience in financial services, operations, or data/reporting environments
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality control
- Ability to follow established processes and identify exceptions or discrepancies
- Effective organizational and time management skills in a deadline-driven environment
- Basic understanding of financial markets, securities, and client reporting (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data validation techniques
- Experience with SQL Server a plus
- FINRA SIE and Series 99 within 12 months of hire
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to escalate issues appropriately
