Description
Mindify Wellness and Care is hiring Master of Social Work graduates to provide behavioral health services for established caseloads at our partner adult day centers in:
- East Orange
- Newark
- South Amboy
This opportunity is well suited for MSW graduates seeking hands-on behavioral health experience, professional support, scheduling flexibility, and clinical supervision when required.

Schedule
Our partner adult day centers generally operate Monday through Friday. Typical onsite hours are:
- 9:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m.
- 9:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m.
Specific hours may vary by location.
Onsite coverage is generally needed one to three days per week, depending on each center’s needs and the clinician’s availability. Telehealth sessions may be scheduled on the same days as onsite services—before, after, or between onsite appointments—or on separate days.
Our team works with each clinician to create a flexible schedule based on their availability, preferred locations, patient needs, and desired caseload.
Compensation
$25–$35 per completed clinical session
Rates are determined by credentials, experience, clinical expertise, and licensure status.
Clinicians are paid for completed clinical sessions. Cancellations and patient no-shows are not compensated.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will be assigned according to the clinician’s qualifications, supervision plan, permitted scope of practice, and applicable payer requirements. Duties may include:
- Conducting behavioral health screenings and assessments
- Assisting with the development and updating of individualized treatment plans
- Providing individual, family, couples, and/or group behavioral health services under appropriate supervision
- Using evidence-based and trauma-informed treatment approaches
- Helping clients develop coping skills, emotional-regulation strategies, and treatment goals
- Identifying and appropriately escalating urgent clinical concerns
- Completing accurate and timely assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes
- Collaborating with psychiatric providers, primary care providers, care managers, supervisors, and other treatment-team members
- Coordinating referrals and connecting clients with community resources
- Following HIPAA requirements, payer guidelines, professional standards, supervision requirements, and organizational policies
Required Qualifications
- Master of Social Work degree from an accredited program
- Eligibility to provide assigned services under applicable New Jersey licensing, supervision, and payer requirements
- Current LSW status, pending LSW application, or eligibility to pursue applicable New Jersey social work licensure is preferred
- Ability to provide onsite services in East Orange, Newark, and/or South Amboy
- Ability to complete clinical documentation accurately and on time
- Strong communication, organization, and care-coordination skills
- Commitment to ethical, culturally responsive, and client-centered care
Experience in behavioral health, social services, community-based care, telehealth, adult day centers, internships, or working with diverse populations is preferred. Newer MSW graduates are encouraged to apply.

Position Type
This is a flexible 1099 independent contractor position. Mindify provides an established caseload, patient referrals, scheduling and coordination support, clinical supervision when required, and company-provided malpractice coverage.
Part-time or full-time W-2 opportunities may become available in the future based on organizational needs and mutual interest; however, conversion to W-2 employment is not guaranteed.
