The AI Solutions Team is looking for a working student! Artificial intelligence is changing how legal and tax professionals work. At Loyens & Loeff, the AI Solutions Team is responsible for driving the firm’s AI transformation by developing practical AI solutions together with our Expertise Groups and Business Functions. The international team brings together product managers, engineers and legal/business experts who translate legal and business needs into usable, scalable solutions.
What are you going to do?
Support the AI Solutions Team in identifying, analyzing and developing AI use cases together with legal practice groups and business teams;
Help strengthen the operational backbone of the AI Solutions Team by structuring and improving how use cases, project intake, progress updates, feedback and reporting workflows are captured, connected and maintained;
Help translate legal and business workflows into practical requirements for AI solutions;
Assist with testing, evaluating and improving AI prototypes and deployed solutions;
Collect and analyse user feedback, usage data and quality signals to support product decisions;
Support prompt design, workflow design, testing and technical documentation for AI-enabled solutions;
Prepare clear internal materials about solution functionality, limitations and responsible use.
This role suits you, because
You are studying a relevant technical or analytical discipline, such as computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, engineering or business analytics. Candidates with a law background are also welcome if they have demonstrable hands-on technical experience;
You have hands-on experience with AI, workflow automation and data analysis, and are comfortable working with technical environments such as Azure or other cloud platforms, APIs, low-code/no-code tools or scripting;
You enjoy bringing structure to complex workflows and are interested in using AI, automation and data to make legal and business processes more scalable;
You are comfortable working with engineering, product, legal and business colleagues;
You are curious about the application of technology in the legal domain;
You are available to work from our office in Amsterdam for sixteen (16) hours a week for a six-month period;
You can structure complex or messy information;
Experience with Python, Azure services, API integrations, Power Platform or building internal workflow tools is a strong plus.
