Description
Family-owned, local food distribution company located in New Stanton, PA, is seeking a full-time Data Entry / Customer Service Representative to join our team. We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with customers and is comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment.
The ideal candidate will have previous customer service and data entry experience, strong computer skills, and excellent attention to detail. This position is an important part of our daily operations and requires someone who can communicate professionally, stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm under pressure.
We offer a friendly, team-oriented work environment with the opportunity to become a valued member of a growing, family-owned business. Experience in the food distribution or wholesale industry is a plus, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
- Process and entered customer orders accurately and efficiently while ensuring all order details were complete.
- Provide professional customer service by answering questions regarding orders, pricing, product availability, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor order status from entry through shipment and communicate updates or delays to customers.
- Able to manage multiple customer orders and priorities in a fast-paced environment while remaining calm, accurate, and professional.
- Coordinate with sales, warehouse and other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Resolve order discrepancies, product issues, returns, and customer concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate customer information, order records, and documentation in company systems.
- Prepare invoices, shipping documents, and other paperwork related customer orders.
Requirements:
- Previous customer service experience.
- Data entry experience.
- Strong computer and keyboarding skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Schedule:
- Full-time.
- Monday thru Friday.
- Daylight- 8:30-5:00.
