Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage assigned projects from RFQ through development, qualification, ramp-up and handover to mass production, ensuring project timing, cost, quality, and customer requirements are achieved.
- Develop and manage project schedules, critical paths, key milestones, deliverables, action trackers, project risks, and resource requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
- Drive new product introduction activities including DFM reviews, tooling development, prototype and pilot builds, qualification, production readiness, capacity validation and mass-production ramp-up.
- Work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Procurement, and other cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical, tooling, material, equipment, capacity, and process-related issues.
- Act as the primary project interface with customers, ensuring customer technical, quality, delivery, and project requirements are clearly understood, communicated, and executed while providing regular project status updates.
- Proactively identify project risks, assess their impact on timing, cost, quality and drive appropriate mitigation, problem-solving and escalation actions.
- Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for critical project issues and ensure actions are effectively implemented and closed on time.
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and implementing corrective and preventive actions to improve project execution and future launches.
- Ensure successful product and process qualification and a smooth transition to Mass Production (MP), including completion of required documentation, open-issue closure and formal project handover.

Qualifications
Education
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience & Skills
- Minimum 7 years of experience in project management, product engineering, manufacturing engineering or a related high-volume manufacturing roles.
- At least 3 years of hands-on NPI Project Management experience in automotive component manufacturing such as metal stamping and injection molding is strongly preferred.
- Good understanding of automotive and medical product development requirements, including APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, IATF 16949, DFM / DFMA, tooling development and capacity planning.
- Strong planning, communication, leadership, analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
- Strong cross-functional leadership skills with the ability to drive actions and influence teams without direct authority.
- Experience working directly with automotive OEM customers or Tier 1 / Tier 2 suppliers is preferred.
- English fluency is required. Chinese language capability is a plus.

- PMP or Project Management certification is a plus.
