1. Supervisar y ejecutar la producción culinaria en su turno (por ejemplo: carnes, pescados, guarniciones, salsas, postres, etc.). 2. Asegurar la correcta mise en place y mantener los niveles de inventario requeridos. 3. Garantizar la presentación, sabor y temperatura adecuada de los platos antes del servicio. 4. Cumplir con los estándares de calidad, higiene y seguridad alimentaria (BPM, HACCP o equivalentes). 5. Coordinar y apoyar al personal de cocina asignado a su estación. 6. Controlar los desperdicios y optimizar el uso de insumos para mantener la rentabilidad. 7. Participar en la creación y mejora de menús, sugerencias y platos especiales. 8. Mantener comunicación efectiva con el Sous Chef y demás partidas para un servicio coordinado. 9. Asegurar el mantenimiento, limpieza y orden del área de trabajo, utensilios y equipos.
