Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed - Patient Access in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. This driving position offers the opportunity to support a caring environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture through teamwork and integrity.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

This is a full-time position. You can expect to work a minimum of 30 hours per week. The schedule for this position has not been assigned yet. If you are selected to move forward, your schedule will be determined as you progress through the hiring, onboarding, and training process. Your manager will work with you to assign a schedule based on business needs before your start date.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor guidance, directions, and adherence to site entry procedures.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and promptly in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
