Description
This position is part time approx 4 hrs per day for vacation coverage. Will be responsible for various warehouse functions, including order pulling, handling, shipping, and truck loading for customer delivery, while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.
Essential Functions
- Reads customer orders, work orders, shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be gathered
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves, or relocates orders to a holding area or shipping
- Weighs, and marks materials with identifying information using appropriate methods and labels
- Loads packages up to 50 lbs into/onto trucks
- May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed
Work Environment
This job is in a warehouse setting with some outdoor exposure during the workday. This role routinely uses warehouse equipment such as box cutters, tape dispensers, work gloves.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand all shift
- Must be able to work in hot/cold temps
Position Type
This is a full-time position.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a distribution center - helpful
