Job Summary
- This role is responsible for leading multiple project teams and managing activities of supporting teams and internal development partners, and overseeing logistics of parts for builds and prototypes. The role applies advanced subject matter knowledge to solve complex business issues, and leverages it to drive innovation and technology integration. The role manages project activities, develops schedules, budgets and resource plans, tracks progress against the establishes plans and drives best practices, while leading less-experienced staff members.
Responsibilities
- To work with China Product Managers and China team to drive delivery of China solutions. This could include in-house and 3rd party development.
- To establish project schedule and lead the team from ideation to business alignment to launch and release.
- Understand the solution roadmap which show how experience will manifest and evolve across printer products, interaction across the system, and need specific validation plans.
- Have a good understanding on the hardware needs and define Solution MVP.
- Groom features to understand flows and dependency.
- Develop integration plan with design, development and test partners that meets program goal.
- Work between agile and waterfall schedule to ensure the hardware and solution are delivered to product launch.
- Work with other NPI PSPM to align on these deliveries with NPI schedule if necessary.
- Drive Solution checkpoint preparation and presentation and follow ups.
- Risk management together with TiO and test teams.
- Manage change request and guide change requestors on the PIR process.
- Provide coaching and guidance to team members.
Education & Experience Recommended
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.
- Typically, 6-10 years of experience.
- Able to communicate in Speak and read in Chinese is a Must. Good understanding of China eco-system is an important plus.
- Proven track record to drive complex SW integration with Waterfall and/or Scale Agile methodology is a strong plus.
- Extensive experience with using project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated business acumen and successful experience managing all aspects of programs, including communicating with stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.
- Ability to effectively communicate program plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at senior management levels.
