Join us and be part of a team that values professionalism, patient care, and personal growth.Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures such as fillings, crowns, and extractions.Take and record patient medical and dental histories and vital signs, and provide postoperative instructions as prescribed by the dentistAssist the dentist in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessaryPrepare and sterilize instruments and equipmentProvide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment proceduresEducate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies to maintain oral healthTake radiographs (x-rays)Perform various office tasks as necessaryRequirementsProven experience as a dental assistantHigh school diploma; graduation from a recognized dental assistant school or training program preferredCertification for radiology as mandated by state regulations (where applicable)Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methodsUnderstanding of health & safety regulationsAbility to perform regulated non-surgical tasks like coronal polishing is a plusGood computer skillsStrong communication and people skillsAttention to detailWell-organized and reliableBenefits401kPaid Time OffPaid VacationPaid Holidays Dental care for individual and immediate family.
