Senior Team Member (Senior Treasury Specialist), Investment Support

Job Summary**

The Senior Team Member (Senior Treasury Specialist), Investment Support plays a critical role in supporting the investment activities of RHB Bank Berhad's Treasury division. This position involves ensuring the accurate and timely processing of investment transactions, maintaining robust data integrity, and contributing to the overall efficiency of investment operations.

Job Responsibilities**

* Execute and settle a variety of investment transactions (e.g., fixed income, equities, money market instruments) in accordance with established procedures and regulatory requirements.
* Perform daily reconciliation of investment positions, cash flows, and market values, investigating and resolving discrepancies promptly.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date investment records in the core banking system and other relevant platforms.
* Generate and distribute investment-related reports to internal stakeholders, including performance reports, risk reports, and regulatory submissions.
* Collaborate with front office traders, risk management, finance, and other support functions to ensure seamless investment operations.
* Participate in system enhancements, user acceptance testing (UAT), and process improvement initiatives related to investment support.
* Stay abreast of market developments, industry best practices, and regulatory changes affecting investment operations.
* Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
* Assist in the preparation and review of operational policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
* Handle ad-hoc requests and projects as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications**

* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in treasury operations, investment support, or a similar role within the banking or financial services industry.
* Solid understanding of various financial instruments, including fixed income, equities, foreign exchange, and derivatives.
* Proficiency in using treasury systems (e.g., Murex, Kondor, Bloomberg AIM) and other financial market data platforms.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
* Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively to meet deadlines.
* Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in treasury operations.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
