Are you an experienced maintenance professional who thrives in a highly regulated manufacturing environment? Join our team in Fort Worth (Vickery), Texas, where you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving essential facility and manufacturing systems that support the production of life changing medical technologies. What will you be doing?
Support and maintain critical facility systems including HVAC, compressed air, steam, purified water, and clean steam systems
Perform troubleshooting, corrective maintenance, and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment including autoclaves, mixing vessels, fillers, packaging equipment, lyophilizers, and centrifuges
Diagnose equipment failures through data analysis and advanced troubleshooting techniques using P&IDs, schematics, PLCs, manuals, and technical documentation
Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance activities with production teams to maximize equipment availability and minimize downtime
Lead small scale reliability, efficiency, and process improvement projects within a GMP regulated environment
Create, update, and implement maintenance procedures and preventive maintenance documentation
Complete maintenance records and repair logs in accordance with Good Documentation Practices and GMP requirements
Support manufacturing investigations, nonconformance activities, and technical document preparation
Provide technical guidance to manufacturing teams and help develop the skills of operators and fellow technicians
Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure safe, compliant, and effective execution of maintenance activities
What will you need to be successful?
High school diploma required; trade school or vocational training preferred
Journeyman License and/or specialized technical training strongly preferred
Minimum 10 years of experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, preferably pharmaceutical or biotechnology operations, or a minimum of 3 years in a Maintenance Mechanic 3 role
Advanced knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and industrial maintenance systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills with the ability to analyze complex equipment failures
Experience interpreting equipment manuals, engineering drawings, and P&IDs in English
Knowledge of GMP requirements, quality systems, and maintenance documentation practices
Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and project planning tools
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Availability to support off shift, on call, and emergency maintenance requirements as needed
