GTM Operations Analyst

About the role

The GTM Operations Analyst is responsible for reporting, data integrity, and process automation across Mimecast's go-to-market organization. Working across Salesforce, Tableau, Snowflake, and related revenue systems, the analyst delivers the recurring and ad hoc reporting that sales leaders depend on, ensures the underlying data is accurate and consistent across systems, and resolves discrepancies between them.

A central focus of the role is automation and the applied use of AI. The analyst is expected to build repeatable, self-service reporting pipelines and AI-assisted workflows or dashboards that reduce manual effort and improve the speed and reliability of GTM reporting. The role reports to the Sr. Director of GTM Analytics & Business Intelligence, and partners closely with Revenue Operations, Data & Analytics, and GTM leadership.

What You'll Do

Automation & AI

• Automate specific recurring GTM reporting end to end, eliminating manual data pulls and refresh cycles.

• Design and build AI-assisted workflows or dashboards that generate reporting, flag anomalies, and convert repeated ad hoc requests into self-service outputs.

• Identify recurring or repetitive requests suitable for automation, and document all workflows and logic to ensure they are maintainable and transferable.

Cross-system data reconciliation (resolving discrepancies)

• Act as the go-to for discrepancies between our systems — Tableau, other BI Tools, Salesforce, and Snowflake— such as sales-team and segment hierarchies that do not match across sources (e.g., reps mapped to retired or “system-friendly” team codes that do not reflect the real org).

• Diagnose each issue to its root cause, reproduce where the systems diverge, and build reporting logic (and automated checks) that pull from the correct source of truth where one exists.

• Flag, log, and drive discrepancies to resolution with the teams that own the upstream data (Data & Analytics, RevOps), following through until they are fixed rather than patched.

Pipeline integrity — identifying & remediating overstatement

• Proactively identify overstated, stale, or misclassified pipeline in Salesforce and Tableau (e.g., EMEA pipeline-hygiene reporting).

• Distinguish real movement from artifacts (mis-set create dates, partner/portal changes, duplicated or mis-staged opportunities) and work with reps and managers to correct the record.

• Build and maintain the hygiene reporting — with automated flags where possible — that keeps the forecast defensible.

Ad hoc reporting & general support

• Respond to ad hoc reporting requests from across GTM leadership, converting recurring requests into self-service outputs where possible.

• Serve as a first responder for “these two numbers don't agree” mishaps between systems, and communicate findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

What You'll Need

• 5+ years in GTM / revenue / sales operations analytics, business intelligence, or a comparable reporting role, with a track record of operating independently and owning deliverables end to end.

• Strong hands-on Salesforce reporting and a solid grasp of the sales pipeline / opportunity data model.

• Proficiency in a BI / visualization tool (e.g., Tableau, Omni, or Sigma).

• Proficiency in SQL (Snowflake or comparable warehouse).

• Track record of reducing manual reporting effort through automation — for example, replacing recurring manual pulls with scheduled or self-service pipelines.

• Demonstrated ability to reconcile data across multiple systems and clearly explain the causes of discrepancies to non-technical stakeholders.

• Excellent written communication and stakeholder management, including working directly with sales leaders under time pressure.

• Highly organized, with the ability to manage both recurring deliverables and time-sensitive ad hoc requests.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with GTM org/segment structures and GTM systems.

• Experience with renewals/retention reporting or subscription & CPQ data (e.g., Salesforce CPQ).

The base salary range for this position is 380k−480k ZAR plus benefits. This range represents the minimum and maximum new hire compensation for this role. The position may also be eligible for incentive plans and additional benefits, in accordance with company policy and local regulations. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location with individual compensation also dependent on factors such as qualifications, experience, and skills. Final offers will reflect these considerations and may vary accordingly.
