Description
Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer
Experience: 5–10 Years
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
Certification: UPDA Certification (Mandatory)
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and interpret civil and structural drawings, IFC (Issued for Construction) drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) prior to project execution.
- Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFIs), technical queries, and design clarification requests to resolve engineering issues.
- Plan, supervise, and monitor civil construction activities, including excavation, concrete works, foundations, and structural works.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, applicable international standards, and quality requirements.
- Coordinate with QA/QC teams to arrange inspections and obtain the required approvals before proceeding with subsequent construction activities.
- Monitor site progress, ensure adherence to project schedules, and maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors, and other project stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of works.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the site team to ensure efficient project delivery.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in civil construction projects.
- Valid UPDA Certification (mandatory).
- Strong ability to interpret civil and structural drawings, IFC drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, engineering standards, and quality control procedures.
- Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in preparing RFIs, technical queries, and engineering documentation.
