Role: A&A Manager

Location: King County, WA

Work Type: Hybrid (two days onsite)

A well-established public accounting firm is seeking an experienced Accounting & Assurance Manager to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a CPA who enjoys working directly with clients, leading engagements, solving complex accounting and tax issues, and developing accounting professionals.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead audit, assurance, and financial reporting engagements from planning through completion.
  • Review financial statements and engagement work for accuracy and compliance.
  • Oversee tax preparation and review for individuals and business entities.
  • Provide accounting, tax, and financial guidance to clients.
  • Manage multiple engagements and competing priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client relationships.
  • Identify tax planning and business advisory opportunities.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop staff through coaching and performance feedback.
  • Research accounting and tax matters and stay current with regulatory changes.
  • Collaborate with firm leadership and team members to deliver exceptional client service.

What You Need

  • Active CPA license required.**
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience.
  • Strong audit and assurance background.
  • Working knowledge of federal and state taxation.
  • Experience reviewing complex accounting and tax engagements.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage client relationships and multiple priorities independently.
  • Experience mentoring or supervising accounting professionals.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Experience with real estate clients is a plus.
