As a Security Officer Full Time Bicycle Patrol in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will support a government location by conducting highly visible bicycle patrols, monitoring assigned areas, and helping to deter security-related incidents. - Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a government location.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed foot patrols of assigned streets, facilities, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and help deter unauthorized access.
- Monitor activity in assigned areas, observe and report hazards, maintenance concerns, suspicious behavior, and security-related incidents according to established procedures.
- Respond to incidents, public concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as directed.
- Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with Allied Universal supervision, client representatives, and local authorities when required.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be able to ride a bike.
- Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
